What is Cmd.Ctrl, in one line?
The system an agency or studio runs on: briefs, projects and workstreams, client sign-off, paid media, quotes, invoices, suppliers, time and meetings, with a portal for your clients and your own name on all of it.
Do my clients pay to use it?
No. Clients are unlimited and free on every plan. They get an invitation, set a password and only ever see their own projects, briefs, quotes, invoices and notes.
How does the 7 day free trial work?
Choose Solo with the free trial when you sign up and add a valid card. PayFast verifies your card at R0, with no upfront trial fee. After 7 days your card is charged R99 a month automatically, unless you cancel before then in Settings, under Billing. You can move up to a bigger plan during the trial. The free trial terms have the details.
Can I bring my clients and invoices across from Xero?
Yes. Export CSVs from Xero or most accounting tools: contacts, invoices, payments, credit notes, bills and quotes. Map the columns, check the preview and import. A migration checklist shows what has come across and what is still to do.
Who counts as a team member?
Owners and staff, the people who run projects, upload work and send invoices. Clients never count.
Can I change plan, or add room?
Yes, from your billing page. Moving up charges only the difference for the rest of the month. Add 25 GB of storage or 5 team members on any plan.
How do I pay?
By card through PayFast, monthly or yearly. Yearly saves ten percent. The subscription renews on its own and you can cancel any time.
Can it carry my own name and web address?
Yes. Your workspace lives at your own address, like yourstudio.cmdctrl.studio, with your name, logo and colour on every page, every email and every invoice.
Is my work private?
Every workspace is separate and invitation only. A client cannot see another client's work, files are only served to people with access, and team accounts can use two-step sign-in.
